Illustration shown at This is France exhibition during the 6th Festival Internacional de Quadrinhos, organized by Casa 21 as part of the Year of France in Brazil festivities in 2009. 30 artists, 15 French and 15 Brazilians, were invited to illustrate their personal view over selected themes of the European country. Mine was the Roland Garros tournament, but I also wanted to pay homage to one of the most known of the French symbols, the fleur-de-lis.

Roland Garros was later published at the illustration annuals Communication Arts 51, Archive 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 11-12 and 3x3 Illustration Directory 2011.
