The deliberately aimless pedestrian, unencumbered by any obligation or sense of urgency, who, being French and therefore frugal, wastes nothing, including his time which he spends with the leisurely discrimination of a gourmet, savoring the multiple flavors of his city - Cornelia Otis Skinner, 1962 Le Monsu Flâmeur was born right after the Monsuteru Crossing series, but with no ambitions to be a real project, just something to do while I took my long morning walks. With my crappy camera and a lot of stickers in my pocket, I used to stroll around on the streets of São Paulo until I find places to take my snapshots. From São Paulo to other cities was an easy step, always with the help of dear friends who were willing to take little Monsu for a walk. The results can be seen at the blog. |
